The Grind Guide

Updated: Dec 3, 2025

Okay, real talk, work is weird! The 9–5, side hustles, dream jobs… it’s a lot. Your 20s basically feel like one long experiment in “what the heck am I doing?”

Spoiler: it’s supposed to feel messy.

  • The Hustle

Everyone’s always saying “grind harder” or “level up.” Side gigs, networking, social media clout… it honestly never ends. But here’s the truth: hustle isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing what actually matters to you. Dedicating your time and energy to the things that matters most to you! Not what your parents want you to do nor doing EVERY POSSIBLE THING at once!

Ask yourself: "Does this move get me closer to what I want? "

If not, maybe it’s time to stop spinning your wheels.

  • The Flow

Flow is the part that absolutely no one talks about, which is crazy to me! It’s those rare moments where work actually clicks, and you start feeling like you 'got this.' The goal isn’t 24/7 hustle, it’s finding your rhythm. Balance the grind with things that recharge you: reading, friends, hobbies… or literally doing nothing sometimes. Let it flow ✨NATURALLY✨!! Take your time and find things that make you happy, incorporate it into your weekly activities. Find your balance.

  • The Reality Check

Some weeks I feel unstoppable. Other weeks I barely make it out of bed. Both are normal. Careers aren’t straight lines, and success isn’t a finish line, it’s messy, awkward, and full of lessons.

  • Stuff I’ve Learned:

  • Hustle smart, not just hard.

  • Find your flow—your vibe matters.

  • Celebrate small wins, even tiny ones. You deserve it.

  • Learn from fails (yes, even the embarrassing ones).

So if you’re in your 20s trying to figure out your path, it’s okay to feel lost. Keep experimenting, messing up, and learning. The “success” version of you is coming, one weird, discombobulated step at a time.
